150 Iranian-Canadian Entrepreneurial Networking

Richmond Hill, October 15, 2023 – Nashtanet, a pioneer in Iranian-Canadian entrepreneurial networking, successfully held its thirteenth gathering on October 15 in Richmond Hill, bringing together a significant number of participants. This event showcased a diverse group of emerging entrepreneurs, each bringing their unique expertise in technology, commerce, marketing, and the Internet of Things, creating an environment ready for collaboration and innovation.

The session was accompanied by engaging discussions covering a wide range of topics vital for startup success, including startup projects, Canadian startup visa opportunities, various incubator options and venture capital investments, as well as budgets and financial aids from the Canadian government. Behnam Nasiri, the founder of Nashtanet, initiated this session and set the stage for insightful and enlightening conversations.

Daryoush Mortazavi, co-founder of Synnovate, provided a brief yet impactful presentation on government financial aids and the related application process. His insights provided valuable knowledge to participants, empowering them to navigate the complex landscape of financial procurement and pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

Simultaneously, the Montreal segment of Nashtanet, organized by Mohammad Nadi, the founder of the Iranian Developers Association in Canada (BIDAR.ca), faced a remarkable reception with an increase in new registrations for this event. The demand was so high that many eager participants, due to space constraints, unfortunately couldn’t attend the session.

Behnam Nasiri, founder of ICAE and VisionTO, emphasized Nashtanet’s primary performance goals and expectations during a pivotal discussion with Nashtanet participants. As its name suggests, NashtaNet serves as a regular, friendly breakfast forum and networking community for entrepreneurs. Essentially, it’s entrusted to each participant to define their goals and subsequently find connections that align with their aspirations. This unique approach empowers entrepreneurs to leverage their networking experiences and strengthen meaningful, purposeful connections.

These recent developments underscore Nashtanet’s increasing penetration into the Iranian-Canadian entrepreneurial and startup community in Canada. The organization’s commitment to providing a dynamic space for entrepreneurs to connect, share ideas, and discover essential resources has garnered significant attention and support.

As Nashtanet continues to take fundamental steps in empowering entrepreneurs, it remains a beacon of opportunity, facilitating communications and encouraging innovative investments in the Iranian-Canadian entrepreneurial landscape.
